SCHEDULED TRAINING PROGRAM
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT & CONTRACT MANAGEMENT: This Program is designed to provide Tribal and/or TDHE planning and development personnel with the necessary tools to develop and administer a complete housing program, either new construction, rehabilitation or a combination of both. This program will assure the maximum housing production for the least expenditure within HUD guidelines where NAHASDA funds are involved. Owyhee Enterprises provides two complete workbooks necessary for completion of this program.
INSPECTOR CERTIFICATION PREPARATION: This program requires the acquisition of the International Residential Code 2009 by the training participant prior to attending the Training Classes. This Code book may be ordered directly from the INTERNATIONAL CODE COUNCIL at 1-800-786-4452. On Line orders may be made at www.iccsafe.org
NOTE: All National Certification Examinations currently being administered by the International Code Council are based upon the 2009 International Codes.

Residential Electrical Inspector Classes January 5, 6 & 7, 2010 at the Tohono O'Odham Nation's Desert Diamond Hotel & Casino, 7350 S. Nogales Hwy., Tucson, Arizona. Room reservations can be made at (877) 777-4212. A $106.00 per night rate is available to Class Attendees
Cost: $560.00 per student Pre-Paid 10 days prior to training date.
$575.00 per student paid at training site.
This class covers chapters 33 through 42 of the 2009 International Residential Code (All Electrical provisions necessary for accomplishing Residential Electrical Inspector Certification). This class also presents the the ICC Certification Bulletin and other information necessary for achieving Professional Certification.
Residential Plumbing and Mechanical Inspector Classes, March 9, 10, 11 & 12, 2010 (four days) at the Tohono O'Odham Nation's Desert Diamond Hotel & Casino, 7350 S. Nogales Hwy., Tucson, Arizona. Room reservations can be made at (877) 777-4212. A $127.00 per night rate is available to Class Attendees
Cost: $585.00 per student Pre-Paid 10 days prior to training date.
$600.00 per student paid at training site.
This class takes a full FOUR days due to the massive amount of material covered and includes chapters 12 through 33 of the 2009 International Residential Code (All Plumbing and Mechanical provisions necessary for accomplishing Residential Plumbing Inspector Certification and Residential Mechanical Inspector Certification). This class also presents the the ICC Certification Bulletin and other information necessary for achieving Professional Certification.
Residential Electrical Inspector Classes April 26, 27 & 28. 2010 at the CROWN PLAZA HOTEL in Oklahoma City. Room Reservations can be made at (405)848-4811. An $84.00 per night rate is available to class attendees.

Cost: $585.00 per student Pre-Paid 10 days prior to training date.
$600.00 per student paid at training site.
This class now takes a full FOUR days due to the amount of material covered and includes chapters 1 through 11and chapter 43 of the 2009 International Residential Code (All Administrative, Planning and basic building construction provisions necessary for accomplishing Residential Building Inspector Certification). This class also presents the the ICC Certification Bulletin and other information necessary for achieving Professional Certification.
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT & CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT: This Program is designed to provide Tribal and/or TDHE planning and development personnel with the necessary tools to develop and administer a complete housing program, either new construction, rehabilitation or a combination of both. This program will assure the maximum housing production for the least expenditure within HUD guidelines where NAHASDA funds are involved, including Title VI guaranteed loans or tax credit financing.
These classes are three day classes and are to be scheduled or offered on-site for a minimum of ten participants.
Costs, including the Training Handbook for on-site training: $400.00 per student (plus travel and accommodation expenses for on-site training)
